Tortilla samosa recipe for evening snacks/starter/ appetizer for parties. It’s a no dough samosa recipe which can be made in minutes without fuss.
Here is the quick ingredient list of Tortilla Samosa :

• Flour tortilla: 9 (Size-6 inches),
• Boiled and roughly mashed potatoes: 5 medium size,
• Red chilly powder: ½ tsp,
• Garam masala powder: ½ tsp,
• Coriander powder: 2 tsp,
• Amchoor (dry mango powder): 1 tsp,
• Cumin seeds: 1 tsp,
• Fennel seeds: 1 tsp,
• Chopped green chillies: 2,
• All-purpose flour: 2 tbsp
• Water, Salt and cooking oil

  1. Thanks for making this video. Love the idea of filling half a tortilla with potatoes and spices and then deep-frying. Good idea with the 'glue', too. 🙂

    I'll bet the left-overs from a pot roast, pork or chicken dinner would be great as a filling for this, and nobody would feel like they're eating the same meal two days in a row. Lol.

    Also, it seems that any filling used for a pierogi or ravioli would work well with this tortilla idea, too.

    And these tortilla halves could easily become 'pizza pockets' that would taste much better than store-bought since frying the tortilla gives it so much more flavor!

    Sigh. So many ideas and so little time. Lol.

  2. I made these samosas and they tturned out to be AWESOME!!!!
    Also I baked them at 350 degrees F, for 20 mins and turned them around after 10 mins. Thanks for the easy recipe. Loved it. AWESOWE AWESOME!!!!

  3. I was so happy to see you incorporate a food item from another culture to make your recipe. I was watching VahChef make naan and I thought the only difference between naan and tortillas is the yeast. So now I use my extra yeast from my bread to leaven my tortillas instead of baking powder. They are really soft!
